Parent Council
Dear Parents and Carers
The Parent Council acts as a important communication conduit between Parents/Carers, Governors, and School. The Parent Council comprises two parents/carer volunteers from each class and they meet every half-term with Mrs Badger providing feedback (praise and concerns), raising queries on behalf of parents/carers and hearing directly about upcoming plans and changes.
If there is anything you would like to ask, anything you are concerned about, or anything you would like to commend, you can do this through your class parent council representative. Your child’s class teacher and/or the school’s senior Management team are also available for you to speak to, particularly for sensitive and individual matters.
Your class representatives will ask for input for upcoming meetings near the time but please don’t wait – you can contact them, or me, at any time. Whilst WhatsApp is useful for sharing reminders and information – please bear in mind that a conversation with your class representative might be more effective for passing on certain queries/feedback!
On this page, you can find the names of your class Representatives and minutes of previous meetings.
Our thanks to the school for giving parents/ carers an opportunity to be more involved in, and informed about, school life. The Parent Council is an excellent way to allow our voices to be heard so please do use it!
We look forward to working with you all,
Kind regards
Julia Arkell
