Year 5 trip to Chester Cathedral - Wednesday 12th October 2022
This year, we have been fortunate enough to secure places on the Pilgrim Day at Chester Cathedral. This experience will provide the children with a unique opportunity to visit the cathedral and take part in a variety of exciting activities, which will enrich our Religious Education curriculum.
Our visit has been booked for Wednesday 12th October 2022 and we will be out of school for the whole day. Our coach leaves promptly at 9am, therefore, we ask all children to arrive at school at 8.40am, when school opens. We are kindly asking for a voluntary contribution of £12.00 to cover the cost of the trip. This will pay for the transport to and from Chester and the charges made by the cathedral. The coach will return to school for the end of the school day.
All children will need a packed lunch and drink in disposable wrapping (no glass bottles, please). Children should wear full school uniform. Also, the cathedral can at times be cold, so please could you ensure your child brings a warm coat with them on the day.
