Y1 Cinderella in Tatton Park – Tuesday 16th April
This term, our topic is ‘Twisted Tales’ and our learning has focused around 10 different fairy tales.
To bring our learning to an end children will be taking part in a ‘Cinderella and Traditional Tales’ experience at Tatton Park on Tuesday 16th April. Children will compare and contrast the lives of Cinderella (before she was a princess) and Prince Charming, through hands on activities. Children will have the opportunity to perform a basic dance in the beautiful Staircase Hall, where Prince Charming's ball is set up to take place. The workshop is a hands on storytelling tour, which will examine the Mansion's staterooms and the servant's quarters. You will need to provide your child with a packed lunch as the trip will last for the duration of the school day. The cost per child, including transport is £20.80.
