Y6girls football competition

Tonight it was the turn of the Y6 girls to play in a football competition at Tarporley High School. Luckily we were playing in the Sports Hall as it was so windy outside. The whole hall became one 5 a-side pitch and 8 teams from local primary schools each had 3 matches to play before the final. We started very well and due to a complete fluke the other team managed to score a goal. Our next match against Tarvin was 0-0 and then we lost our final match 2-0. Tarvin was the eventual winning team (funnily enough the team that we stopped from scoring a goal). A huge thank you to Mr. Cole for his expert coaching and to all the cheering spectating parents. Woman of the match was Ellie Davies who used the wings so effectively. Well done to the whole team, Jessica Williams, Hannah Thomas, Charlotte Manning, Flo Green, Madeleine Fostier and Ellie Davies.
