Y6 week beginning 8 2 16

Hello everyone

We hope you have all had a great weekend and are looking forward to the last week of this half term. Where has the time gone?

Last week was fun especially with our DT day where you were all successful in making models that either lit up or made noises...and some did both! I was very impressed with your hard work and the problem solving and co-operation that must have gone into your products.

Last week also saw us say good bye to Mrs Spencer. It has been a pleasure working with her and I know that she worked extremely hard for you all, so a BIG 'thank you' goes out from all of us to the wonderful Mrs Spencer.

This week Mrs Badger will be in as usual for Monday and then I will be in for the rest of the week. I am really looking forward to the sharing of the Takeaway homework on Wednesday. It will be a real celebration of all your hard work and committment to Y6 and we will take photos to put on the blog.

On Thursday, the winning team will get their treat with Mr Kirkpatrick so wait and see if it will be you!!

We will be doing a few assessments plus a Big Write towards the end of the week which will help Mrs Badger and me decide how you are getting on and where we need to fill the gaps. You are all doing very well and we are very proud of your efforts!
