Y6 week beginning 22 3 16

Date: 20th Mar 2016 @ 1:28pm

Hello everyone

We hope you are enjoying this lovely mild Spring weather that we are having...after all it is the first day of Spring today!

We have a busy week ahead, as ever, eventhough it is only a 4 day week as Friday is Good Friday and we will be off for the Easter weekend.

During the week we will be rehearsing for our Easter Service which is at 10am on Thursday morning at the Church. We would love any help with walking up to church please. Mrs Badger, Mrs Black and I were so impressed with how well you worked on our 'Temptation 'piece for the service and know that it will be very slick by Thursday's service. Also remember to keep learning the words for the songs so that we will have a wonderful celebration  based on 'The Lord's Prayer' for everyone to enjoy.

I know I mentioned Takeaway' homework on Friday but I just want to confirm that as we are getting closer to SATs we do not expect the usual 3 pieces of  homework but would want everyone to do at least one piece ready to share on Wednesday 30th March.

We will be doing a variety of SATs practices this week just so that you start to feel more comfortable with the tasks and the timings. It is nothing to panic about and just a way to make sure you are as familiar as possible with the tests as they get nearer.

As you know we have Parents' Evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday this week with a slighly different format which we think will work really well. We can still see that a few parents have not signed up for an appointment so do please do so as we feel it is important for us to meet you all and pass on any details that will help you to do your best as you progress through Y6 and on to High school.

Have a good rest of the weekend

Love Mrs C and Mrs B
