Y6 week beginning 14 3 16

Hello everyone

We hope you have had a good weekend and are looking forward to another fun packed week in Y6!

On Monday after school we have a SATs meeting for parents of children in Y2 and Y6 where they can come along and learn more about the SATs tests in May. A leaflet has been sent out to all the parents for more information as well.

This week we will have our church visit on Tuesday afternoon so you will need a waterprooof coat with you. We would also really appreciate any parents who could help us walk to and from the church. It promises to be a really interesting session and all parents are welcome to join us.

In Maths this week we will continue with our work on algebra as well as 'having another go' at a test paper under timed conditions. Times table of the week is 9x again so remember to keep practising.

We will have a Science investigation day on Thursday as part of Science week and on Friday we will have a chance to share our findings with another class.

I am out on a course on Friday morning but will be back in the afternoon when we can share our Science and also think about a possible dance for the Easter service in church.
