Y6 Hope Journey

This morning Year 6 spent the day at Kelsall Chapel learning about the theme of remembrance along with Tarporley Primary school and Kelsall Primary school. After splitting into two groups, we rotated around different activities throughout the morning. We learnt lots about both wars including listening to the first-hand experiences of a lady who had lived through the Second World War as a child, looking at artefacts from the time and visiting the war memorial outside. Also, we spent time thinking about loved ones we have lost and created a wreath on which we wrote our hopes for the future for both ourselves and the world.
I must say I was very impressed with both behaviour and manners (as I have been on the 2 other trips) – you were all great representatives of Bunbury school!
Overall, it was a very interesting and insightful morning which gave us all lots to think about before returning to school for the afternoon!
