Y5/Y6 X Country 9.3.17

A beautiful sunny afternoon but a very muddy field. I was glad I had my wellingtons on! There were 10 children from Year 5, Aimee, Sophia, Tilly, Rebecc, Elie, Lola, Douglas, Daniel L, Oliver and Toby and 7 from Year 6 Elizabeth, Jolie, Jessica, Joe, Daniel, Alexander and Roux. What great runners and fantastic representatives for our school. They showed skill, perseverance, dedication and fitness and all completed the long and arduous course. Special mention mut go Rebecca Chang and Oliver Reilly for winning a bronze medal and also to Gracie Mackenzie who couldn't compete due to a broken arm but came along to cheer her friends along,
