Y5/Y6 Indoor Athletics Competition

This morning Mrs. Moxley and I took 12 very excited children to Tarporley High School to take part in the Indoor Athletics competition against 7 other Primary Schools. The team ran, jumped and threw extremely well and more importantly supported their team mates when it was their turn to compete. It was lovely to hear them congratulate each other. All times were added up and we were announced to be the winners of the event each receiving a gold medal, certificate and trophy that we can keep for a year.
Well done to Isla Kinnear, Elizabeth Jones and Sophie Harrison from Y5 and Jessica Williams, Hannah Thomas, Madeleine Fostier, Jack Artist, Jedd Healy, George Griffiths, William Gray, Maximo Williams and Harry Blythin from Year 6. A huge thank you must also go to Mrs. Kinnear, Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Williams for help with transporting the team. Please take time to look at the photos.
