Y4Tag Rugby Competition

this evening was the chance for Y4 to shine using their rugby skills. We took a squad of 11 children to Tarporley High School. 8 schools had entered and were sorted into 2 groups of four. We played our first 3 games starting quite gingerly but becoming more focussed and committed as the competition progressed. We lost the first game 3-1, won the second 4-1, lost the third 2-1 to find ourselves third in our group. We then played Duddon who had also come third in their group for the fifth position play off. We won this 3-1 to come overall 5th. Well done to all the players. You were great and I didn't need to shout 2 hands on the ball once! Thanks once again to Mrs. Walker for coming with us.
