Y4 week beginning 20.6.16

Hello to you all, hope you have all had a great weekend so far.

We all had a busy, fun filled week and another is in store starting tomorrow with Sports Day. Please ensure that you all have your PE kit including trainers in school, have a bottle of wate and a sun hat and suncream (applied before school) if necessary. KS2 sports day begins at 1.15pm and parents will be notified by 12 if it has to be cancelled.

In English we will continue with dialogue using the text Kensukes Kingdom as a stimulus before moving onto settings. Mr. Cole will continue with multiplication and division and problem solving. You will be having your second lesson on teeth and digestion after last weeks lesson on making "poo" which I know you found slightly disgusting but fascinating. I bet you can remember all the parts of the digestive system and their functions.

You will begin some work on what is an island and how they are made. Think of some questions that you would like to ask or information that you would like to find out.

We need to do an assessment on Pentecost in RE before starting work on parables.
