Y4 week beginning 19.6.17

Date: 18th Jun 2017 @ 8:17am

What fantastic weather we are having, make the most of it but put on suncream and drink lots of water.

i know I say every week is going to be busy but it really is this week, don't know how we will fit work in! Miss Moores will be teaching you all day on Monday as I will be in Y2 teaching them. She will be continuing our work on graphs and looking at line graphs that you may see being used in temperatures etc. She will also continue work on the Water Horse redrafting your non chronological reports after you edited them last week. Miss Moores has a great Art activity planned for the afternoon based on Scottish landscapes.

On Tuesday we are all off to the Cheshire Show to play our brass instruments on the band stand. You need to be in school at 8.30 ready to leave with your instruments and packed lunch. Our stint to play is 1.30 and we will leave shortly after. Traffic permitting we should be back in time for normal home time.

You need to get your leg warmers and sweat bands ready for the Danceathon on Wednesday an event organised by the School Council. Every 30 minutes or so throughout the day, the bell will ring, music will start to play and we need to get ourselves to the hall to dance! Should be great fun.

As part of the annual report you have your say. You need to think what you have really enjoyed this year, what you feel you have learned and perhaps what you are looking forward to next year. Once that is written I can type it into your report.

On Friday, you can come to school dressed in your own clothes and in exchange bring something animal related for our Village Day stall. This was very successful last year. It could be a teddy, a lead, an animal puzzle anything that has something to do with a teddy. Anybody who wishes to walk as part of the school float needs to be by the church at 12ish with an adult to accompany you. Mrs. Crotty and I will meet you there.

Enjoy Sunday.

Love Mrs. W, Mrs. W and Miss M x
