Y4 week beginning 12.12.16

Date: 10th Dec 2016 @ 3:59pm

Hello Y4

We hope you are spending time decorating trees, writing cards, hanging lights and choosing or wrapping presents. However please don't forget Takeaway homework which is due to be shared on 21st December. We are aware that this is a very busy time of year so if you only have time to complete 1 piece of homework that is fine. Remember presentation is very important.

Next week is assessment week and we will be completing a maths assessment and a Big Write. Please don't worry about either, this just helps us to see the progress you have made, the areas of writing, maths and reading that we may need to revisit and to set your new targets for after Christmas.

We will be completing our unit of work on area in maths and editing and improving our non chronological report after the Big Write in english. The Mayan city will be completed on Monday afternoon and our Christmas craft ready to be sold at the fair will be made on Wednesday. There will be a few rehearsals for the Christmas service this week in preparation for the KS2 church service next Tuesday 20th December at 7pm in St. Boniface Church. All parents, carers, relatives and friends are very welcome to attend.

On Friday 16th December is the school Christmas fair. There will be many stalls, games and a grotto to visit. Please come and maybe you will find a few last minute presents!

Enjoy your weekend.
