Y3 w/b 13/2/17

Date: 12th Feb 2017 @ 10:34pm

Good evening Year 3,

Firstly, I apologise for not doing a weekly blog for a few weeks. My internet has been very hit and miss!

On Thursday we attended Young Voices and as always we had such an amazing time! I hope you have all rested this weekend and recovered from the late night. Thank you all so much for your kind emails, cakes an flowers! It really was a pleasure to take the children.

This is the last week before we break up for half term, half way through the year already. Time flies when you are having fun! It is assessment week and we will be doing a Big Write, maths assessment and a reading comprehension. As always please don't worry about these it is just helpful for us to see what you have mastered and what areas of the curriculum need to be revisited.

In the afternoons we will be thinking about how dragons fly and making our own flying dragon. I can not wait to display these in the classroom! On Friday we will be thinking about our local area and looking at the map we found. Where is that X???

Don't forget your Takeaway homework on Wednesday. The classroom is all cleared and ready to be filled with dragons, castles and other magical beasts!!

Please continue to bring bottle tops and jar lids into school. We will be making our moving dragons after half term. Thank you!

See you in the morning

Miss Cork
