Y3 and Y4 art work

Our start to the book Sea of Dreams was a joint art day. There were 5 activities in Y3 and Y4 classrooms and we grouped all the children into 5 groups. Today the children have worked on 3 different activities that included painting sails, collating strips of coastal scenes, sketching seagulls using wax resist, scratching, and water to move ink, making origami secret beach books ready for our expanded noun phrase poetry and finally newspaper collage seagulls. We will try to complete the final two activities on Wednesday afternoon and take more photos of the children at work. Please look at some of the completed art work.
