Y1 and Y2 X Country

It was a really glorious afternoon watching children from Y1 and Y2 running in the X Country events. Although the sun was shining and it felt warm the fields were extremely muddy. Braeden managed to be covered before the races even began! What a turnout from Y1 who had nearly everyone from their class running. Penelope Harrison won a silver medal, Junior Aspinall a gold medal closely followed by Joseph Kennedy who picked up a silver medal. Congratulations to the 30+ runners who took part and an apology to Mrs. Moxley who didn't get the message to wear wellies.
