Welcome Back Year 3!

Good evening Year 3! 

I hope you have all had an enjoyable and relaxing half term. I certainly have! I have been up and down the country visiting my best friends and family. Write a comment in the box below to tell me what you have been up to this half term.

Your forest projects need to be in school by Friday. I am really looking forward to seeing them all and displaying them in the classroom. There will be time throughout the week for each of you present your project to the class (and me!) and show off what you have learnt. Thank you to those of you who have already emailed me your project. They are marvellous! 

This week in maths we will be looking at fractions. We will be creating a fraction wall, ordering fractions and finding fractions of objects. There will be lots of practical activties to help us with our learning - it may even include some treats! 

In English we will be contining with our work on 'Into the Forest'. We will discover who the boy meets on his journey through the forest and this will lead to writing a character description. 

Mrs Parsons will be starting a new science topic with you and we will also be finishing our work on Jesus the Healer.

I am looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
