Weeks 1+ 2

Over the last few weeks, the children have been settling into their school life in reception. We have been getting to know each other, learning new routines and had lots of open ended play based learning. This week, the role play has been a fantastic Maasai hut and the children have been enjoying role play activities in there. The outdoor area has been a huge hit with the children especially enjoying the water (lots of water everywhere despite overalls!)

Next week we are starting our new class book- Handa's Surprise. I wonder what it will be about?
