Uniform Consultation

We are exploring the option of updating our uniform when the School converts to an Academy in 2017 and becomes part of the Rural Church School Trust. With the forthcoming move to Academy status, Governors, staff and both the Parent Council and the Student Council have taken this opportunity to consider the implications both for and against changing the school uniform.
Studies show that having a more formal uniform can also help to promote an ethos of high standards, high expectations and achievement; all of which is very much in keeping with the mission of our academy. As a result we have decided to open a consultation period during which we will present a number of options for a new uniform and request your views.
We do understand the expense involved in buying a new school uniform and we have taken a number of steps to ensure that the transition to a possible new school uniform is affordable for all our families.
The photographs show the proposed uniform along with a price list. We are awaiting samples of blazer trimmed in green and a green tie. The red trimmed blazer in the photographs is for illustration only. These will be updated when the samples arrive.
There is an online questionnaire available on the Parent area of our website and we would be very grateful for your feedback. All responses will be carefully considered.
