reception News week beginning 6 11 17

We hope you have all had a lovely holiday . We are going to be working hard this half term, it is so short and there is lots to do. 

This week we start off with an emotional well being day for the whole school . In reception we are thinking about when we feel sad and when we feel happy and doing activities linked to this. Our number activities will be linked to capacity and size. At the end of the week the children will be looking at the topic of Remembrance. On Friday we have our very moving service with the British Legion.

We are continuing fine motor skills, phonics, reading and number activities every day.
