Reception news week beginning 5 2 18

We are now moving away from the book Lost and Found and looking at Nick Butterworth's book "One Stormy Night." It is a lovely text with lots to look at and discuss. We will be acting out the story in the rolepay area and writing about it. I wonder how Percy felt when animals kept knocking at the door?

We are also looking at the artist Paul Klee and creating our own shape pictures. In maths we are looking and shape and measure. There will be lots of different activities around the classroom.

We are very pleased with the children they are working so hard and are very keen. Well done Reception.
