Reception news Week beginning 27 11 16

What a great class. They are doing so well. It is amazing how the children have improved since they started school. They are much more confident and their concentration has really improved.

We have started to practice our nativity learning the songs. I am sure that they will start singing them at home. In the afternoons they often play and sing at the same time often singing the wrong words!

This week we are designing our own alien, making moon sand, making cupcakes and writing how we made them. We will be talking about our news and at the end of the week there will be another "BIg Write."

In number we will be still focussing on money and designing aliens throwing dice. We will also play a board game. Of course there will be lots of reading and writing.
