reception News week beginning 19 3 18

Thankyou to everyone who was able to come to "Stay and Play" it was very successful. There is alwasy such a lovely atmosphere. The children are so keen to show off their classroom. We will be having some more sessions in the summer term.

We have started learning about money using numicon and !p, 2p and 5p coins. Children always find money difficult I think its probably because they don't see adults use it as much any more ( everyone uses cards!)  It is such a good way of counting in 2s,  5s and 10s. We are going to be continuing with this in our play.

We will be diary writing on Monday and then thinking about the Palm Sunday Story together with symbols of new life as our preparation for Easter.
