Reception news week beginning 14 11 16

The children worked really hard last week. There was lots of reading, number and writing. Tomorrow we have some exciting news from bear about the moon. He might have to go to the moon again. The children are going to have to pack for a picnic for him. They are going to write a list of the things that they might like to take. We are also going to look at the moon and talk about the supermoon.

In number we are concentrating on money and the shop. We are also going to think of different ways to make a number e.g 3 and 2 to make 5. The activities are always differentiated.
