Another busy week. On Monday we are going to find a suitcase with a label. I wonder whose suitcase it is and where that person might be going. This is our introduction to Cape Town. We will talk about how to get there and what we might need to pack in our suitcase. We will be making tickets and passports. It will be a great topic.

We are also working on the children's fine motor control to enable them to hold a pen effectively. Every morning we have some fine motor activities at the start of the day. The children also practise holding a pen correctly. This week we are also going to assess the children's physical skills. Can they catch a large ball? Are they confident on play equipment etc?

We will also be looking at number and introducing Numicon.
