Leaf Man

On Thursday one of the children said they had seen Leaf Man at school so we decided to go on a walk around the school grounds to see if we could find him. We were very disappointed because we couldn’t find him anywhere! Whilst we were walking we collected some leaves and sticks to use to build Leaf Man a home, if we could ever find him. To our surprise when we arrived back to the classroom Leaf Man had blown into the class, Mrs Lawford had accidently left the door open and he had been blown in. Unfortunately at playtime Leaf Man was blown away again. Well... a Leaf Mans got to go where the wind blows.

The children have been drawing maps to help Leaf Man find his way back to our class, making pictures of Leaf Man and using leaves to help them with their counting.
