Happy New Year and Welcome Back Year 3!

Happy New Year to you all and I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas with your family. The Year 3 team would like to thank you very much for our thoughtful gifts and cards. My scarf kept me very warm whilst walking along Formby Beach and Staffordshire Moorlands. Mrs Walker said the elephant decoration was beautiful and reminded her of her travels in India.
This week we are spending time on Global goals and Children's rights. Together with Y4 we will be looking at Article 22. See if you can find out what that right is before we talk about it tomorrow. The week will be spent on Geography, P4C, Art, Drama and English linked to this right. Mrs Waddington and I met up last week to plan some exciting lessons on this theme. We are sure you will enjoy them. Each day during assembly each class will have a slot to tell the rest of the school what they have found out and to show them some of the work they have produced.
This terms Takeaway Homework is available to download from this blog and the class page. I will also be sending home a paper copy this week too.
This is only a short half term but we have a lot to fit in. I know you can do it! Make sure to get some rest tonight.
