Getting ready for canoeing and a final farewell to Tattenhall
Date: 5th Jul 2017 @ 4:49pm
After another huge breakfast, a final pack and stripping of our beds we got ready for our last adventure. Dressed in life jackets and a paddle in our hands we travelled to the canal in Tattenhall. Our knowledge of knots became useful again as we tied two canoes together and a wooden bench seat in the canoe. We stepped in carefully and paddled along the canal in the direction of Beeston Castle. Every time a barge came along we had to paddle to the side. We ate a biscuit and had a drink half way along before turning around to head home for a final lunch and play before getting on the coach home.
its been great and hopefully an adventure they will not forget.Thank you children for making my final residential so memorable.
