Year 6 London/Haberdashers Trip
We are planning to take Year 6 to London for the day on Friday 7th June 2019.
The children will need to be dropped off at Crewe Railway Station, at the new entrance located at the side of the station off Weston Road, at 8am as we will be catching the 8:23 train to London Euston.
The children will arrive in London at 10:00 and will walk to the British Museum where they will have a lunch and a look at the exhibits. After the museum, the children will walk to the Haberdashers Hall where they will receive a light afternoon tea and take part in a treasure hunt around the building. The children will then walk to the Rain Forest Cafe for tea before returning to catch the train from Euston which will depart at 18:57 and arrive back at Crewe Station at 20.33. Please collect your child promptly from the new entrance off Weston Road.
The total cost of this trip will be £47.50. A deposit of £27.50 is required by Wednesday 27th March and remaining balance to be paid by Friday 17th May. Payment can be made online at SchoolMoney or by cheque payable to Rural Church School Academy Trust. Please return the permission slip below to the office with consent and menu preferences by Wednesday 27th March. Due to us having to pre-pay for this trip, all payments are non-refundable.
Please provide a packed lunch in a small backpack. Children should wear school uniform and appropriate outerwear depending on the weather. Additionally, due to the amount of walking which will be done throughout the day, please ensure your child wears appropriate walking shoes.
