Year 3 Residential Trip 9th - 10th May 2019
We have arranged an overnight residential stay for Year 3 in the summer term of 2018, at Condover Hall in Shropshire. We will leave school on the morning of Thursday 9th May, returning the following day, Thursday 10th May. We will hold a parent/carer meeting nearer to the time to provide you with more information and issue medical forms for your completion.
The children will have the opportunity to try out a range of outdoor activities, the value of which cannot be underestimated. Residential courses are recognised as a valuable part of the curriculum as is the beneficial effect that learning outside the classroom has on a child’s progress.
The children will take part in outdoor pursuits, which will pose new and exciting challenges for them. They will learn to work together as a team, develop their independence, confidence and an ability to recognise strengths and weaknesses in a constructive way. At Condover Hall, fully trained and qualified instructors, with the support of school staff, will provide instruction on a full programme of activities in a safe and controlled environment.
The total cost of the visit is £97.00 and includes: full board and accommodation, return transport from school to the centre, all instruction, activities and safety equipment, a programme of evening activities, achievement certificates and comprehensive insurance.
We are very excited to be able to offer this trip to Year 3. An initial non-refundable deposit of £35.00 is due by Monday 10th December 2018. The remaining balance can be made in instalments of your own choosing, we request for payment to made in full by Monday 22nd February 2019.
