Well, another busy week has gone by with you all working so hard. Next week is the last week before half term...these last few weeks have flown by!

It was great to see some of you responding to last week's blog about your choice of topic home work. I hope a few more of you add a comment this weekend.

This week we have undertaken an assessment which will highlight gaps in mathematical understanding and enable targets to be set. We have looked at adding fractions and then converting the answer which is an improper fraction into a mixed number.

eg 4/5 +7/5 = 11/5 = 2 1/5

Also we have continued to deepen our undestanding of perimeter and area.

Some games based on our work on fractions have been assigned to you on Mathletics.  Have fun!

Next week we have our Harvest festival at church on Friday 23rd October. It starts at 10am and I am hoping lots of your parents will be able to join us.
