Y4 week beginning 7.12.15

What an adventure I have had trying to get back home from Glasgow on Saturday, I will tell you about it tomorrow when I see you. I hope you all had a great time at the Christmas fair on Friday night.

Mr.Cole will be continuing with information texts for the rest of this week and next leading up to our Last Big Write of 2015 next week. In maths we will complete our fraction work before starting on coordinates as well as completing assessment 2. This is very important as it sets our next targets.

Rehearsals for the KS2 Christmas service held in church on the evening of Thursday 17th December (more details to follow) begin this week. Please continue to learn the Y4 part on the birth in Bethlehem off by heartt so we can practise as a class at school. It helps that it rhymes! We need to give out parts of Mary and Joseph, the Innkeeper and towns people. The only costumes required will be head dresses but we will talk about this in school and then send home a note stating what you will need

On Wednesday, it is our annual whole school event to the New Vic Theatre in Stoke. This is always a magical experience where we sit " in the round" with a buddy and the staff watching a performance. This year it is Robin Hood and Maid Marion. The actors are a bunch of very talented people and we watch drama, dance, the playing of instruments and singing. Please remember you are representing Bunbury School and your behaviour needs to be as exemplary as always.

Although we are close to finishing for Christmas, there is still a lot of work to be done.
