Y4 week beginning 28.3.16

Hello Y4

I hope you have had a fabulous Easter weekend and although the weather was pretty dreadful for most of it, it was lovely to see so many of you today at the official opening of the fabulous new play area and track on the Pavilion fields.  Beth Hayward and her team have done such an incredible job to get it completed and it will be such a great area for our community. I brought my girls to the opening and they both wished they had been slightly younger and smaller so they could have had a go!

Although this is only a short week, there is still plenty to do. We will complete a short maths assessment ( don't panic James!) and then you will make some smoothies as part of your capacity work in maths. Miss Mullins will be finishing in our class on Thursday before she goes back to Duddon Primary School. We will all really miss her calm and quiet manner. After our break,  Mr. Cole will be returning to our class.

We will be spending the rest of the week on our part of The Lords Prayer, forgiveness as well as finishing work.

Wednesday will be the sharing and celebration of our Takeaway Homework. Please make sure that you bring this in on the 30th, we really look forward to seeing what you have achieved this time. The new homework will be posted on our class page this weekend so that you can make a start over the holidays if you would like.

Congratulations on your part of the Easter Service last Thursday. You did us proud, it was a very emotive and special service.
