Y4 week beginning 27.6.16

Date: 24th Jun 2016 @ 6:56pm

Hopefully I will see some of you tomorrow at Village Day and that the weather will be glorious for Bunbury on Sea!

You have all worked so hard this week on multiplication and division and being able to give explanations of how and why you have worked out a problem in a certain way. Your maths homework is an extension of this. Next week will continue on this theme, you will look at factors of numbers and describe why you know that 12x25 is the same as 12x5x5 or 2x6x25.

Poor Michael (in Kensukes Kingdon) has gone overboard and is currently all alone in the Ocean. What will happen next? Will he and Stella survive? We will have to wait until Monday to find out what happens next. We will do some more extended pieces of writing on scene setting and do a Big Write.on this topic.

Mr. Cole will continue on teeth and digestion in Science and parables in RE.

Please remind your parents about a meeting on Thursday 30th at 3.30 about the residential trip to Tattenhall. We will have a list of equipment and clothes required, a Form C to fill in and hopefully we will be able to answer any questions or concerns that they may have.

On Friday we hope many of your parents will be able to come to the poetry afternoon. This will be held after your brass lesson at 2.30 and you will have a chance to read your WW1 trench poem to them.

Have a lovely weekend and see you all on Monday.

Dont forget Mr. Coles challenge, remember if you all have a go there will be a cake afternoon.

Love Mrs. W and Mr. C
