Y4 week beginning 24.10.16

Hi everyone

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Hopefully your parents love your Christmas card designs, we certainly did. Please bring any orders back by Friday 28th October so they can be professionally printed and back to school  in time to send out to family and friends.

This week you will be looking at newspaper reports. Have a look at a newspaper over the weekend and bring in an example of one you have read. It could be from any section in the paper. You will look at all the various sections and what should be in every report before writing your own linked to Leon.

Addition and subtraction will continue in maths to include problem solving. Don't forget to use RUDELY!

In preparation for our visit to Princes Road synagogue we will begin our work on the Jewish faith. There are a lot of lovely books on this subject in the classroom and of course the Internet is always a great resource.

Remember there is no swimming this week but you will have PE instead so please make sure your PE kit is in school.

Dont forget to bring in all your Takeaway homework on Wednesday 26th October.. You will have a chance to share your work with your class and school.
