Y4 week beginning 11.7.16

Date: 10th Jul 2016 @ 9:19am

Hello everybody!

What a fantastic residential we all had last week at Tattenhall. You all tried tasks that you had not done before and succeeded. Well done. It was a pleasure taking you all away, we were very proud of your commitment, teamwork and behaviour and would be very happy to take you away again. Keep looking at the photos on the blog, they are a lovely memory of your residential.

Do not forget to come dressed in your Olympic team colours tomorrow and remember to bring a waterproof, sensible trainers, water and a snack. If the weather is glorious a hat and an application of suncream is a good idea. We will be outside all day. This will be a great occasion to show your team work skills once again and all the Olympic and Paralympic values not only with your friends but with children from other Year groups and from St. Oswalds school. Being competitive is important but encouraging your team mates is also extremely important. Good luck everybody.

On Tuesday we will continue with our maths themes on problem solving in multiplication and division and finding out a little more about Kensukes in English. Who is he and why is he so cross with Micheal?

Wednesday is transition day where you will spend the morning with your next teacher.

We will be have a 'Big Art' day on Thursday. You all need to come dressed in old clothes that you don't mind getting paint splattered. We will be using acrylic paints that stains clothes. Mrs. Sissons is coming in to help bringing a lot of tropical foliage from her garden. We will learn how to upscale our work and be big and bold.

There will be a short maths assessment on Friday before science followed by brass.

Have a good Sunday and keep everything crossed for great weather tomorrow!
