Y1/Y2 X-Country

It was the turn of Y1 and Y2 children to compete in the X-Country running event this afternoon at Tarporley High School. The daily run our KS1 children are doing each day has certainly had impact. 13 Y1 and 19 Y2 children turned up and they all competed and more importantly completed the course. Each race was very exciting to watch. Special mentions must go to William Barnes gold medal winner and Charlie Rice silver medal winner in the Y1 boys race, Poppy Hayward bronze medal winner n the Y2 girls race and Tristan Aspinall silver medal winnerand Joseph Kennedy bronze medal winner in the Y2 boys race. Well done to you all, we are very proud of you all especially the children who competed for the first time.
