Reception news week beginning 2 11 15

Welcome back to the second half of the Autumn Term. This term starts at a fast pace, reading ,handwriting, phonics, number and writing. We are starting to look at Space and Aliens this topic has come from the children. We will also be thinking about day and night animals, linking them to light and dark. If anyone has any interesting cardboard tubes that we could use for telescopes I would be grateful.

Just a reminder that there is Matheletics on line and I am going to send out passwords for Teach Your Monster to Read. Have a look it is on line. I think it will help children with their phonics and reading.

We will also be out in our school woods making the most of the last of Autumn.
