Reception news week beginning 18 4 17

Welcome back to the Summer Term. I hope you have all had a lovely holiday and the children are raring to go. They will be tired by the end of the week as we have lots to do. We will be writing and talking about their holiday first as the children always want to tell us what they have been doing. We are then going to be thinking about Easter and New Life and making some hot cross buns. 

In number we are looking at ordering numbers and thinking about their place value. Reading and phonics will carry on as usual.
