Fractions, Skype and Baking

We have had a very exciting day in Year 3!

Firstly, we used Skype to speak to Trevor. We showed him our findings and he was able to answer our questions. He was very helpful and we decided to work together. We feel closer to solving the history mystery and can't wait for our trip!

Secondly, we have used our fraction knowledge to do some baking. We had to work out what fraction of each ingredient was needed to make chocolate cookies. The cookies will be eaten at Book and a Biscuit tomorrow (we washed our hands - promise!) We had great fun mixing the dough. They look and smell delicious. Harriet said they looked too tempting.
