This week we have visited Chester Cathedral as part of our R.E focus on pilgrimage. It was wonderful day and attached are some photographs. I was impressed by how engaged and courteous Year 5 were, well done.

In class, we have focused on various methods of multiplying and when to use a metal or written calculation.  We will be continuing with multiplication strategies next week and if you can use Mathletics activity N – Multiply and Divide Facts and Multiply and Divide Mental, this will help consolidate last week’s learning.   

In English, we are preparing to write a narrative based on the book and short film, Varmints. We all wrote an opening paragraph on Friday and they were very impressive.
